The home features an extensive caulk and seal package, including caulking all opening for lights in the ceiling and blown cellulose insulation in the sidewall and attic. Foam exterior insulation was used below grade. All this makes for an extremely air tight home. Anticipated gas bills with normal family living is expected to be below $600 for the year!

INTERIOR. The kitchen and eating area features bamboo all wood flooring and cabinets made from recycled rubber trees. The windows are low E windows. The carpet and padding are recycled materials. The bathroom floors are ceramic tiles and the family room features crown molding. The bathroom vanity tops are solid surfaces and the toilets and shower heads are low flow fixtures. Most of the preceding are not normally found in a home at this price point. All paints are no VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). This adds to the indoor air quality and is great for those with allergies and respiratory problems.
